Measurement of Leg length excessive asymetry
Leg length excessive asymmetry of fillet welds - leg length excessiveness above one another (a segment of the perpendicular dropped from the deepest penetration point to the tangent of the surface of the seam at the point of its greatest convexity or concavity)
- Position the welding gauge on the surface of the product and making sure that you are placing it close to the fillet seam as illustrated.
- Adjust the fillet arm 2 or the top High-Lo arm 4 until it makes contact with the surface of the test object. Take the readings of the desired parameter from either of the scales K or H, respectively.
